Hat Making Courses and Tuition
Would you like to learn how to make couture hats? Bobbi runs ‘one to one’ tuition days in her Worcestershire studio. She also caters for hen parties and group bookings.
You may be a complete beginner, or perhaps you are an existing milliner wanting to hone a few skills. It could be you want to learn the art of hat making with a view to it becoming a business. Bobbi can cover all aspects of millinery, felt, straw, sinamay, fabric covered shapes, leather – in fact any material you may wish to work with.
A day or a series of days can be tailor made to your individual requirements.
A range of different aspects of hat making can be covered, fascinators, hatinators, pill boxes, perchers, wedding hats, show hats, theatrical hats and so on. All materials can be supplied, unless something specific is required, in which case you may wish to bring your own. Materials are charged extra to any tuition cost.
“I spent three days with Bobbi working on a ‘one to one’ basis and enjoyed it so much I am still buzzing. Bobbi is such a great teacher, patient and inspiring and we managed to make two hats, one of which was a silk covered crown and brim which involved skills that I had not yet experienced. I cannot wait until my next visit.”
